Individual Therapy

Walnut Creek and throughout California

You're successful but anxious, loved but lonely, capable but doubting yourself, always busy but feel unaccomplished, productive but burnt out, high-functioning but overwhelmed, grateful but something's missing. From the outside, others might assume you have it together. But there's a version of you that's drowning and exhausted. You don't need to be in crisis to need support.

What brings people in

Your anxiety is deafening.

What might have once been manageable, quirky neuroticism is now all-consuming worry and dread. It streams "what-if" scenarios until the tightness in your chest and your clenched jaw can't be ignored. You're tired of white-knuckling through your days.

You're performing a version of yourself that doesn't fit anymore.

But who are you? The role you've been playing at work, at home, and in your relationships is itching to evolve.

You're embarking on, or in the thick of, a life transition that's shifting your foundation.

And you haven't found your footing yet. Do you know what you're doing? Is it going to be OK? What if you fail? These questions plague you and run on a loop at 2 a.m.

Perfect or bust.

It's beyond having high standards for yourself. You hold yourself to expectations that would be unreasonable for anyone else, and when you fall short (and you always think you fall short) the inner critic is relentless.

You can't stop saying yes to everyone about everything.

One more task? Lay it on me. Can I do you that favor? Of course! You're a good person and that's what good people do. It doesn't matter that it's costing you your boundaries, your sanity, your energy, and your sense of self.

Imposter syndrome is your co-pilot.

The only reason you got that promotion, those compliments, this success is because you've fooled them all. You're waiting to be exposed as the fraud you are.

You're burned out and running on empty.

Not tired in a way that a vacation fixes, but tired in a way that makes you question everything. Sometimes you want to throw your life into the wood chipper and call it a day, but instead you zone out to the scroll or escape into the latest Romantasy rec.

Your ADHD brain is struggling in the neurotypical world you're navigating.

Whether you've known since childhood or discovered it after kids or perimenopause, you want to understand how to work with how you're wired.

What to expect from this work

Space to be honest.

You don't have to perform here. No pretending you're fine, no minimizing, no worrying about being too much. This is the one place where you get to put it all down.

A holistic approach.

We'll explore your patterns, beliefs, the functions they serve, and where you experience them in your body. We'll build a new narrative that honors your values and meets you with compassion. We'll ask, "Is this something I need to change or something I need to accept?" and then respond accordingly.

Therapy that works for you.

Some people come in for a singular, short-term issue and leave when it's resolved. Others stay for the long game because the work keeps evolving. We'll define what success looks like together and revisit it as your life changes. I'm always trying to work myself out of a job. And when we're done, the door is always open.

You already know something needs to change. This is where it starts.
